About the Community Accounts

The System of Community Accounts organizes data into a system of accounts that highlight relationships among the data. These relationships have an even more profound impact on Well-Being than the accounts in isolation. When exploring the Indicators section of the site, each of the unique indicators are taken from an account in the site, and are intended to represent important factors in determining both individual and community Well-Being.

This concept is similar to a determinants of community well-being and regional prosperity model.
